Today, I’m sharing a recipe that will take your breath away – my homemade No-Bake Peanut Butter Cheesecake! This delight is not only incredibly easy and quick to prepare, but also the perfect companion for your next coffee gathering or birthday celebration. So, grab the ingredients and let’s get started!
Making this cheesecake is truly a piece of cake. With just a few simple steps, you’ll create a dessert that will send your loved ones to seventh heaven. Believe me, I’ve often caught myself standing by the fridge with a spoon in hand after cutting a slice. 🙂
What’s in the peanut butter Cheesecake?
The combination of creamy cream cheese, delicate whipped cream, and flavourful peanut butter forms the base of this heavenly cheesecake. The crunchy cookie crust and the tempting topping of caramel, crunchy peanuts, and chocolate shavings make this dessert a true taste sensation. And to add even more chocolate (and a little crunch), I melted some chocolate and spread it over the slightly chilled crust. Wow, was it delicious!
Simply melt the chocolate in a double boiler and then carefully spread it over the chilled cookie crust; this adds an amazing crunch!
Oh and I use smooth peanut butter for the filling. Why? Simply as I want it to be extra creamy. However, if you happen to prefer an extra crunch, feel free to use chunky peanut butter 🥜
because, between you and me, it tastes sooo irresistibly good either way!
And here is another tip:
Store the No-Bake Peanut Butter Cheesecake in the fridge overnight to allow it to fully develop its flavour. You’ll notice (and taste) that the peanut flavour becomes so much more intense the longer the cake “rests”. And believe me, the wait is worth it when you enjoy a slice of this creamy cheesecake the next day and simply fall in love with the subtle peanut taste.
And since I don’t use gelatin, please keep the cake refrigerated. Don’t worry, it will set nicely, but it doesn’t like warmth very much.
So, let yourself be seduced by this irresistible Peanut Butter Cheesecake and savor every single bite. Sometimes happiness is simply on a plate – or in this case, on a cheesecake.
I hope you have as much fun preparing and indulging in it as I do. Bon appétit!
love, sabrina 💛
