Chocolate Orange Cookies

Chocolate Orange Cookies

Jump to recipe

Everyone has their favorite cookies that you will bake every year or have your mom/ grandma bake them. But this year I wanted to try something new and thought to myself, hey, why don`t I convert one of my favorite cookie recipes. And the chocolate orange cookies are the result.

They are a modification of my absolute favourite cookie, the German Spitzbuben..

They are made with hazelnuts and red currant jam.

Like the original, they are really easy to make and also just look absolutely sensational on the cookie plate.

You can of course just take a store bought Orange Marmalade, but try my Orange Whiskey Marmalade for it. The Marmalade gives the chocolate orange cookies just another kick. And chocolate and orange are an absolute stunner together.

And if you are baking with kids, you can also modify the cookies with filling them with some melted chocolate… I tried it and they sure were a HIT!

If you are making those delicious cookies for kids, simply substitute the orange whiskey marmalade with some chocolate. Just melt some chocolate and fill the cookies with it… So good!

Why don´t you just give it a go!

Have fun baking,

love, sabrina x
